Valerio Meletti is a Percussionist, band manager and music publisher who has founded and managed two record labels: Ethnoworld〔http://www.womex.com/virtual/ethnoworld_srl/member/valerio_meletti〕 (Milan, 2000 - still active) and Silent Revolution (London, 2005–2008). As a percussionist〔http://archiviostorico.corriere.it/2000/marzo/15/Milano_Irlanda_vm_0_000315783.shtml〕 Valerio Meletti has worked extensively with F.B.A.〔http://www.folkimages.unisonplus.net/fylde04/ferebandaperta9.htm〕 and the Celtic Harp Orchestra, having also recorded some of the bands' finest works: above all "Till the sky shall fall" (F.B.A.) and "''The Myst''" (C.H.O.), both critically acclaimed and worldwide distributed. As a band manager〔http://www.mtv.it/musica/artisti/archivio/artista.asp?idArt=44832〕 V.M. has worked six years (2004–2010) with The Afterglow (a Turin-based band) releasing two albums in the UK (the 2006 much acclaimed "Decalogue of Modern Life", mixed by Steve Orchard, and 2009 "Sorry."), touring England/Scotland four times and shooting videoclips in London and Liverpool, thus helping The Afterglow to reach a full and unreserved acceptance as a British band. During 2012 Meletti teamed up again with The Afterglow and Steve Orchard for the recording of a new single ("(I still go )"). As an event manager V.Meletti has worked for the 2004 edition of Milan's Festa della Musica〔http://www.festadellamusica.it/web_2004/2004.html〕 and has organized many festivals and events such like the Bocconi University Ethnic Festival ("(Ethnobocconi )") or "Musiche della Terra"〔http://ricerca.repubblica.it/repubblica/archivio/repubblica/2002/01/31/suoni-mondiali-nel-piccolo-teatro-musiche.html〕 (held in Milan in different locations). Although still active as a music publisher, Meletti has recently shifted into the media monitoring field, being head of social media, web and local press monitoring for the main Italian media monitoring agency (L'Eco della Stampa).
